Dumaguete City: Pastries

My husband bought us a big log of this buttery, chewy, nutty, crunchy layered meringue called Sans Rival on his recent trip to Dumaguete City. This one is definitely without rival. So to counter its overly rich and sweet taste I paired it with banana and that's how I eat my Sans Rival. Yum!

This is Chocolate Silvanas - a crunchy. creamy, frozen cookie made up of a layered of buttercream sandwich between two cashew-meringue wafers, and coated with cookie crumbs. (wikipedia)

Best eaten when frozen.

  2. Hi, thanks for dropping by. I didn't bake these goodies. As mentioned in my first sentence.
